dr lauren monaghan
Clinic Manager, Registered Acupuncturist & Doctor of Chinese Medicine
Lauren has been immersed in natural health since 2013, when she began studying Naturopathy while working as a Phlebotomist. A year later, a stint assisting at an acupuncture clinic changed everything. Watching Chinese Medicine work up close, she knew she had found her path, and she has been deepening her practice ever since.
She completed her Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture at Endeavour College of Natural Health in 2021, and holds registration with AHPRA and membership with ANTA. Her clinical focus sits firmly in women's health, with a particular passion for fertility, pregnancy, birth preparation and the acute postpartum period. She brings genuine expertise to each stage, helping women move through some of the most physically and hormonally demanding seasons of their lives with more support and less guesswork.
Beyond acupuncture, Lauren also offers c-section scar release, manual lymphatic drainage and a range of other massage techniques, making her care particularly valuable for women navigating postpartum recovery. It is a level of hands-on, integrated support that goes well beyond a standard acupuncture appointment.
Lauren's approach is warm, thorough and deeply patient-centred. She will meet you wherever you are on your health journey, and she creates a space where voices are heard, questions are welcomed and care feels genuinely collaborative.
She is proudly queer and neurodivergent, and her clinic is a welcoming space for all gender identities and sexualities.
Lauren lives and works on Yuggera and Gubbi Gubbi Country, spanning North Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast.
